Hercules Petro Services provides drillout and cleanout services with coiled tubing and Thru Tubing tools. We drill out frac plugs, cement and scale, and we clean out wellbores and sand fill in casing or production tubing. Experienced field crews plan each job to cut non-productive time and limit wear on downhole assemblies.

Frac plug drillouts

Drillout of composite and cast iron frac plugs in long horizontal laterals. The HP X-ERT pulses at the BHA to break friction and delay coil lock-up, so the coil reaches further and keeps weight on the mill. See Horizontal Plug Drillout for details.

Field record: HP X-ERT mill-out to 24,069 ft, with customer-reported times of 3-5 minutes per plug. Laterals to 23,721 ft.

Cement and scale drillouts

Drillout of cement, scale and debris buildup in casing or production tubing, with precision tools that restore clean, smooth flow.

Wellbore and sand cleanouts

Removal of sand, fill, scale, asphaltene and paraffin from casing and tubing, using coiled tubing and Thru Tubing tools. The HP Jett Motor is all-metal, rated to 500°F, and runs on fluid, nitrogen or acid. That suits low-pressure and depleted wells, where nitrogen lifts the solids out.
